Abstract

817,225. Cartons. ABBEY DISPLAY CO. Ltd. Oct. 16, 1957 [Oct. 17, 1956], No. 31604/56. Class 18. A carton which can be used as a dummy display comprises bottom, side and end panels, the bottom and one side panel having parallel slits and being scored to enable the material between the slits to be folded up into a step. The carton is folded up from two blanks, one of which provides a bottom panel 3, rear panel 7 and lid 2 with tuck-in flap 13 ; parallel slits 15 in the panels 3 and 7 with score lines 16, 17 and 18 define the step. The other blank provides a cut-away front panel 6 and end panels 4 and 5, the two blanks being stapled together through tabs 21.
