816,104. Glazing windows. WALFORD, R. SCOTT-. July 4, 1956 [July 7, 1955], No. 19615/55. Class 20(3) Panes are secured in a window frame 12 by channel section beads 11 which engage studs 10 each of which comprises a screw 13 which passes through an axial opening in a cylindrical bush 14 and is adapted to be screwed into a tapped hole in the frame 12, each bush 14 being provided with an external peripheral shoulder 15 for engaging beneath inwardly projecting ribs 20 on the side limbs of the bead 11. In the case of a T-section frame the web 23 is provided with a number of plain holes 24 through which the shanks of the screws easily pass for engaging in tapped holes in the corresponding bush portions 14 on the other side of the web. Cover plates 26 for the corners of the frame have depending lugs 28 which can be turned in beneath the sides of the beads.
