814,770. Surgical tables. ALLEN & HANBURYS Ltd. Nov. 26, 1957 [Nov. 26, 1956], No. 36160/56. Class 52(3) The head section 6 and leg section 7 of a surgical table are connected by detachable pin and socket connections 8, 9, 10 to the trunk section 1 and can be interchanged. Releasable locking means, preferably in the form of a slidable spring bolt engaging notches 11 in the pins 9, are provided and are operated by handles 20. One pin of each pair is preferably longer than the other to facilitate insertion and disconnection.
