Abstract
811,262. Electromagnetic relays. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. June 26, 1957, No. 20106/57. Class 38 (5). A relay armature 12 is pivoted on a pin 13 on extensions 14 on one limb 4 of the core and carries two contact springs 16 insulated from each other and arranged to engage fixed contact pins 24 in alternate positions of the armature. Springs 25 are fixed to extensions 27 of the contact springs 16 so as to bias the armature 12 away from tne other limb 6 of the core and carry the current from the studs 26 to the springs 16. The pin 13 is slightly bowed before assembly so that it holds itself in position after insertion through the armature 12 and its. supports 14. The cover 1 is sealed to a metal base 2 by soldering.
