Abstract

807,655. Jewellery. CHELTON (POPPITS) Ltd. and CHARLES, G. R. S. Sept. 5, 1956 [May 31, 1956], No. 16909/56 Class 43. [Also in Group XXV] A link unit for joining plastic beads with a hook at the end of a neck comprises a body 10 of resilient plastic material such as polythene having a slot 11 with inturned lips 13 whereby the heads 15 of the plastic beads 16 can be forced into and slidably retained within the slot. The body may have a socket for the head of another bead or the body may be annular having a central hole. The slot may be continuous or discontinuous. Two headed beads such as are described in Specification 750,737 may be used with the link unit. The link unit may be used to connect together two or more chains of beads or to attach one or more pendant beads.
