Abstract
A sanitary deodorant and cleanser comprises a block of p-dichlorobenzene in which there is incorporated 1 : 3 - dichloro - 5 : 5 - dimethyl hydration, preferably containing 2.5-5 per cent of the latter. The deodorant may be prepared by dissolving the hydration in molten p-dichlorobenzene and casting into blocks or intimately mixing the hydration with crystalline p-dichlorobenzene and compressing the mixture into blocks.
