Abstract
In order to improve the texture of a plaster of Paris bandage the plaster is mixed with a small amount of hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose, preferably between 0.1 and 3.0 parts by weight free 100 parts, by weight, of plaster. This gives the plaster of Paris a smooth texture and provides a bandage which is more easily mouldable and which readily adheres to itself even when the underlying section has hardened.
