Abstract
Barium - containing alloys, particularly for use in oxide-coated cathodes in discharge tubes or as getters, are produced by adding nickel or cobalt or nickeltungsten alloy in powder form to barium peroxide and heating in an atmosphere of hydrogen, e.g. at about 800 DEG C.
