Class 29 [Also in Group XVIII] A cooling liquid for use in internal combustion engines comprises water and hydrazine or hydrazine hydrate. The solution may also contain an anti-freeze agent such as ethylene glycol or glycerine. A phosphate, such as a hexametaphosphate or polyphosphate, may be added when hard water is used, and ammonia may also be added. In examples solutions contain hydrazine hydrate, ethylene glycol, the disodium salt of ethylene-diamine tetraacetic acid, and ammonia.
