800,461. Feeding threads. VEREINIGTE GLANZSTOFF-FABRIKEN A.G.. Feb. 23, 1956 [Feb. 23, 1955], No. 5679/56. Class 120(2) A device for taking up threads from a conveyer has two co-operating conical rollers and a control lever which in the normal position hangs vertically and directs the thread to the mean circumference of the conical rollers, and upon deviation from the normal position directs the thread to thicker or thinner ends of the rollers. Threads laid in loops across a reticulate conveyer 2 pass between crosspieces of a triangular-shaped control lever 3 pivoted at 12. Deflection of the bottom of the control lever 3, according to the point of thread take-up, causes the take-up speed to be altered as the position of the thread between the rollers 5 varies.
