800,172. Stands. N. B. MOULDINGS, Ltd., and KING, T. B. Dec. 3, 1954 [Sept. 5, 1952], No. 22372/52. Class 52(3) A plastic swivel stand for mirrors, photographs, and the like, including moulded glass or picture holding members 5 pivotally mounted on separate moulded supports 3, a recess 13 in either the support or the holding member, preferably the former, being engaged by a trunnion or similar projection from the corresponding element, is characterized in that either the trunnion or the walls, of the recess 13 are split, e.g. at 17, to relieve excessive resistance to turning of the trunnion. The supports 3 are tenoned at 14 to push-fit into a moulded base 1.
