798,682. Lathe-details. WALDRICH GES., H. A. Aug. 18, 1954 [March 13, 1954], No. 32791/56. Divided out of 798,681. Class 83 (3). A tool-rest for a roll-turning lathe comprises a central groove 6 and a number of adjacent strips and bar-members 7 arranged on edge and individually adjustable, the members projecting at their forward ends and being provided with cutting-edges 13. The strip-members may be arranged in a box 9 to facilitate clamping, and may be given a desired " form " by using a template against the front or rear ends. The tool-rest is similar to that described in Specification 798,681.
