Abstract
798,350. Relating air supply. REIBERGER & CO. July 27, 1956 [Aug. 1, 1955], No. 23355/56. Class 126 [Also in Group XII] The damper 2, Fig. 1, of a flue 1 is controlled by a bimetal coil 5 secured at one end to the damper pivot 3 and at the other to the damper, the arrangement being such that the damper automatically swings to the open position if its connection with the coil is ruptured. In a modification, the damper is mounted on a central pivot and weighted at one end. In another arrangement, the pivot is at one edge of the damper. In a further modification, the damper is formed of two sections, each controlled by bimetal coil 5, Fig. 4.
