An attachment for a pneumatic riveting hammer 1 comprises a bracket 2 attachable to the hammer, and a spring-loaded bell-crank lever 4 pivoted to the bracket at 5, one arm 6 of the bell-crank lever being engageable with the striker head of the hammer and the other arm carrying a detachable rivet head-forming die 9. A wear-resisting pad 7 on the arm 6 engages the striker head.
