Class 142(2) The barrel 1 of a warp beam having adjustable flanges thereon comprises a single tubular member with screw threads at each end, the pitch of the threads being several times larger than the width of the thread groove. The root diameter 3b of the interior thread in each flange is larger than the outer diameter 1a of the barrel so that the latter can be unmachined. The barrel may be a drawn tube.
