Class 79(5) [Also in Group XXXVII] A feeler for fitment to a motor vehicle, for use in giving warning of contact of the vehicle with obstructions or with other vehicles, comprises a body portion a of rubber or plastic material adapted to be secured to the bumper bar or other part of the vehicle and a cover c of rubber or rubber-like material, the body and cover having metallic contact plates f, e respectively, so that when the feeler meets an obstruction the contact plates f, e engage each other whereby an audible or visual warning device is put into operation by electric means.
