Class 52(1) A castor with a rectangular base plate 1 having holes for fixing screws and an integral spigot 3 carrying a roller bearing 5 the outer race of which fits in a recess in an annular wheel fork member 6 with forks 7 carrying a wheel 8 has the plate 1 and member 6 formed with oppositely positioned grooves 9, 10 in which is loosely mounted a ballbearing assembly 11 which comprises two races held together by a cage. The plate 1 has a downwardly depending rim 12 to prevent dust &c. entering the bearings.
