The subject-matter is the same as that of the main Specification 790,617, but the claims are directed to the forward-reverse action of the two rear trains FJ (see Abridgment of the main Specification), wherein a forward ratio is obtained when a ring-gear 78 of the train F is prevented from reverse rotation by a one-way detent 94 reacting on a controllable disc-brake G; and reverse is obtained when a ring-gear 104 of the train J is held by a double-cone brake K and the one-way detent 94 is released by its brake G to permit reverse rotation of the ring 78.
