Abstract

787,329. Waveguides. METROPOLITANVICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. June 27, 1955 [July 1, 1954], No. 19354/54. Class 40 (8). [Also in Group XXII] A bifurcated waveguide junction, preferably of aluminium, consists of an input limb and two output limbs all of hollow rectangular crosssection, and the proportion of the input power in each output limb is determined by the relative sizes of the entrances to the output limbs. The waveguide is fabricated from rectangular tube with the output limb portion 16, 17, Fig. 4, welded to the input limb portion, Fig. 3 (see Group XXII).
