784,383. Reinforcement for concrete beams. CROMPTON PARKINSON, Ltd. Feb. 27, 1956 [March 1, 1955], No. 6027/56. Class 20(4) A structural metal beam 10 for reinforcing concrete has a plurality of metal bonding members 11 each welded at one end to a surface 13 of the beam so as to extend outwardly at right angles thereto and formed near its other end with a shoulder 16 facing the surface 13 of the beam 10. As shown a composite T-beam is formed by casting concrete 12 on the surface 13 of a steel I-beam 10, and each member 11 is in the form of a rod having an enlarged head 15.
