Abstract

782,163. Hinges. HARRIS & SHELDON (DISPLAY), Ltd. April 1, 1955 [May 6, 1954], No 13186/54. Class 65(2) [Also in Group XIV] A garment display fitting comprises arms 4, mounted on a tubular support 1, and pivoted about a horizontal pin 10 displaceable within vertical slots 12 in the support, together with a fixed detent 16 inside the support engaged by notches or recesses 11 at the inner ends of the arms 4. The pivot pin 10 has an elongated head portion 13 with a turned-over end by which accidental displacement of the pin is prevented (Fig. 4). By turning the head 13 through a right angle the pin 10 is released and can be raised to disengage the arms 4 from the detent 16.
