Abstract

775,923. Agricultural implements. JOHANSSON, N. H. I. March 22, 1955, No. 8297/55. Class 6(1). An implement such as a harrow is attached to a tractor by means of a link 6 and eyelet 1 to allow lateral movement of the implement with respect to the tractor, the implement being raised by the engagement of supporting arms 4 with a drawbar 5 connected to lifting arms 7. When in the raised position the eyelet 1 lies between two upright members 2 thus securing the harrow against lateral sliding movement during transport. A connecting link 16 is attached to the members 2 together with a hook 27 for chains 28 which support the rear end of the harrow. Guide plates 3 are provided which abut against one of the lifting arms 7 when the machine is raised from the position shown in Fig. 4 and bring the harrow into line with the tractor as it is raised from the ground.
