In a garment for men's wear having a turned-down collar 5 and a front opening closed by overlapping portions 2a, 2b provided with a sliding clasp fastener 3a, 3b arranged off-centre, adjustability of the collar is permitted by incomplete closure of the fastener 3a, 3b. The upper edges 2c, 2d of the front portions are cut so as to slope upwards to 'and join the seam line 8 of the collar at a, b, the top edges of the extensions 2a, 2b sloping similarly. The lines 2c, 2d may be curved or straight.
