A runner attachment for securing to the underframe of a perambulator comprises a frame 12 on which are pivotally mounted four struts 13 carrying runners 1 so that they may be moved into contact with the ground under the action of springs 18. The frame 12 is provided with clamping plates 23 for securing to the axles of the perambulator. The position of the runner may also be controlled by a pedal.
