772,403. Endless tracks for vehicles. AKTIEBOLAGET BOFORS. Aug. 31, 1955 [Oct. 1, 1954], No. 25001/55. Class 79(1). A bar 10 for reinforcing a worn grouser 2 on a track plate has a strip-like lower surface 11 shaped to fit closely onto the worn grouser, the lower surface being bounded by two welding chambers 12 to enable the bar to be welded to the grouser. The bar is preferably one half of the length of the grouser and is wider and thicker at the end 13 which covers the end of the grouser to counteract the extra wear in that portion. The other end 14 of the bar is welded end on to a similar bar which covers the other half of the grouser.
