Abstract

772,254. Labels. BRITISH CELANESE, Ltd. March 7, 1955 [March 8, 1954; June 22, 1954], Nos. 6699/54 and 18280/54. Class 73. A spring cap 3, Fig. 1, bearing indicia 10 and comprising a dished disc 6 and a plurality of flange section 7, is secured to a projecting portion 14, Fig. 2, of a yarn bobbin 15 and is covered by a press-fit shroud 4. An identifying coloured paper disc 5 may be secured by the cap 3. The flange sections 7 are turned inwards at their free edges and are adapted to grip or release the portion 14 when the disc 6 is sprung away from or towards them. Apertures 9, 12 respectively in the cap 3 and shroud 4 enable the paper disc 5 and indicia 10 to be seen when on the bobbin.
