A pressure - gauge comprises a manometer tube 2 mounted in a groove or recess 3 in the wall of a supporting tube 4 and held in place by a strip of material 5 carrying a graduated scale against which the meniscus level of the liquid in the manometer 2 may be read. The gauge may be provided with a zero - adjuster comprising an adjustable bellows . 10 disposed within the gauge liquid reservoir tank 8. The apparatus may be mounted on a base 18 by a flexible mounting 19 and two adjustable mountings 20, the three mountings being spaced at the corners of a preferably isosceles triangle for levelling purposes. Adjustable folding legs 24-27 may also be provided.
