770,179. Spraying lances. HOBBS, J.. R., and KESTREL ENGINEERING CO., Ltd. June 6, 1955 [March 4, 1954], No. 6353/54. Class 47. [Also in Group XXVIII] A spraying lance comprises a nozzle 2 to which is permanently or detachably secured by a screw 4 the innermost tube 3 of a telescopic assembly of tubes provided with flanges 12, 13, 14 which carry screws 9, 10, 11 lor clamping the 'tubes in adjusted positions and which co-operate with flanges 15, 16, 17 to limit extension of the assembly. The tubes provide a rigid support for the end iportion of a hose 1 secured to the nozzle.
