Abstract
The optical coupling system is esp. for linking a camera (6) to an oscilloscope (1) providing a high degree of parallelism. The basic rectangular tube making up the coupling is perfectly symmetrical about the oscilloscope face 'Z' axis and consists of six wall sections. The whole structure is attached by an end plate to a camera adaptor (2) to the oscilloscope, the structure being sufficiently heavy to carry the camera weight. The camera has slides (5) holding it within the tube and allowing it to be moved in the 'Z' axis along slots (10) in the tube walls.
