769,747. Soldering. SYLVANIA ELECTRIC PRODUCTS, Inc. April 19, 1955 [April 19, 1954], No. 11319/55. Class 83 (4). [Also in Groups XXXVI and XL (a)] A grid comprises a ceramic support 12 having on one face a molymanganese coating 14, to which coating is secured the grid structure 16. The coating may be an 80 per cent molybdenum and 20 per cent manganese powder mixture, painted on in dilute suspension, and fired in a Wet hydrogen atmosphere. The tungsten wires 16 are brazed to the coating in a similar atmosphere, using a nickel-plated gold-silver alloy as brazing compound.
