An electrical warp stop motion for the loom of Specification 681,610 in which the warp 8 comes from an overhead beam, the cross - section, of the warp sheet being an arc of a circle, has droppers 7 guided on a sloping path by curved rods 6 so as to slide by gravity on to a contact rail 6a on thread breakage.
