764,555. Egg whisks. FJELLSTEDT, S. A. R. Feb. 8, 1955 [March 3, 1954], No. 3660/55. Class 86 An agitator particularly intended for whipping cream and scrambling e g g s comprises tubes 4 of tightly spun coil springs connected to a handle 1 which is adapted to be connected to a source of compressed air, the openings between the coils of the tubes 4 permitting discharge of the compressed air during operation of the agitator. As shown the handle 1 is provided at one end with a connection piece 2 for a hose or the like, and at the other end is screwthreaded for attachment of a support 3 for the springs 4. The springs are bent to form loops, each end being inserted into a hole 5 in the support and being secured by sealing means 8. A filter 7 prevents impurities from entering the end of the springs, through which end the compressed air is supplied. The springs may be strengthened by piano wire disposed inside them. In an alternative construction each spring is connected to the support 3 at one end only, the other end being closed.
