Abstract

763,408. Boxes. TAYLOR, C. J. G. July 18, 1955 [Oct. 13, 1954], No. 29477/54. Class 18. A packing box has attached to each of its six walls a stack comprising an equal number of laminae 3 interspaced with resilient material 4, the inner most laminae being so dimensioned that the stacks do not interfere with one another. A sensitive instrument 7 is packed in an inner box 5 with further packing comprising a cardboard tube 8 slotted to accommodate projections 10 and surrounded by corrugated cardboard 11. The box 5 fits within all the stacks when they are under some compression as shown the stacks comprise cardboard sheets spaced by soft rubber blocks.
