In a system for testing pressure gauges wherein a manually-operated plunger C produces. a pressure in pipe-lines a which are measured by a master gauge C<SP>1</SP> and indicated by the gauge A under test, an auxiliary cylinder B and ram are provided whereby the system can be more easily primed to its working pressure.
