Class 81(2) An injecting device for medicated fluids or powders comprises an ampoule in which the medicament and a gas under pressure are sealed, a flexible connecting member, between the ampoule and a tubular nozzle, and a filter adjacent the inner end of the nozzle. A glass ampoule 2 has an extended tip 5 to which a length of rubber tubing 6 is attached, and this carries a length of rigid tube 8 at its other end, serving as a nozzle. A cloth filter 10 is set in the enlarged end of the tube 8. When the appliance is to be used the tip of the extension 4 is broken, so that the gas pressure forces the medicament out through the nozzle. Any particles of broken glass are retained by the filter 10.
