[Also in Groups VI, XI and XVIII] A camper's cooking kit comprises a pressure cooking vessel 1, e.g. of thin drawn aluminium, formed with means such as a shoulder 13 for supporting two superposed open-topped food receptacles 15, 15<SP>1</SP> and with a lower, water reservoir, portion of reduced dimensions to fit within a base member or stove in which fuel can be burned, the base member being so constructed that, wher not in use, it can be stored within the vessel 1 in the space between the lower and the inverted upper food receptacles. As shown, the pressure cooking vessel 1 has a domed cover 2 that is held in position by a spring hoop 7 hinged to the vessel at 8 and having a catch 9 at its free end for engagement with the rim of the vessel, pressure on the lid being exerted by a curved spring 10 that is secured at one end only to the hoop 7. An elastic sealing ring is interposed between the rim of the vessel and a bead on the cover. The upper food receptacle 15<SP>1</SP>, which has a perforated base, rests on the receptacle 15 which has a shoulder 17 to rest on shoulder 13 in the vessel. The heating unit comprises a cylindrical base member 18 having a reinforced edge 23 at one end to engage a shoulder 12 on the vessel 1 and having an inwardly directed flange 25 at the other to support a kettle 26, Fig. 5, the base also being provided with an internal bead 19 to support a platelike fuel holder 20. To facilitate insertion of the fuel holder when the base is inverted, diametral slits may be cut in the flange 25 or parts of the plate may be cut away. The cover 2 has fixed handles 11, Fig. 1 (not shown), and the kettle and its lid have pivoted handles 43, 42, the latter reposing in a central depression in the lid. Straps 47 may be provided on cups 46 and on the pressure cooker for engagement by separate lifting handles 48, Fig. 8 (not shown), which may also be inserted in slots in the receptacles 15, 15<SP>1</SP>. The base, fuel holder, kettle, cups and plates 34 may be stored in the vessel 1 as shown in Fig. 3.
