Abstract

1,116,132. Multipurpose cooking device. HARBENWARE Ltd. 24 May, 1967 [25 May, 1966], No. 23294/66. Heading A4A. A multipurpose cooking device suitably of aluminium comprises a body portion 5 which forms a stew pan, a detachable rim 6 which fits into said body portion and a domed cover portion 11 which may be used on its own as a frying pan or skillet. The detachable rim also may provide a rest for a lid 12 which can be used as a lid for either the portion 5 or 11. A detachable handle 15 may be stowed inside the apparatus when not in use and fits into external cleats 13 located on cover 11, body portion 5 and on pans 18 and 19 which may be accommodated within the body portion 5 together with their lids 20 and 21. The rim 6 may also support an aluminium disc 23 which has a plurality of holes 24 to receive egg-poaching cups 25 which are stored inside the device when not in use. The inner surfaces of the receptacles 5, 11, 18, 19 and 25 may be coated with a non stick coating, the outer surfaces may be polished or enamelled.
