A probe-capacitor for e.g. measuring the moisture content of granular material comprises two metal prongs 8 screwed to the ends of two parallel metal tubes 1, 2 interconnected by a flat bridge 10 whose length may be adjustable, the prongs 8 being insulated from the tubes by insulating bushes 7 and connected via screwed studs 9 to leads 3, 4. Specification 721,223 is referred to.
