Abstract

<PICT:0759954/IV(a)/1> <PICT:0759954/IV(a)/2> A lubricating device comprising a rubbing block is formed from a moulded mixture of molybdenum disulphide and a polymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene or tetrafluoroethylene. Molybdenum disulphide is present in an amount of from 10 per cent to 95 per cent by weight of the moulded mixture. A piston 10, Fig. 1, has a plurality of recesses disposed between cast-iron piston rings 11, 12, in each of which is received a spring-pressed lubricating block 14 according to the invention. The device is also applied to a ball-bearing cage. Specification 695,195 is referred to.
