999,691. Pellet forming machines. MASSEYFERGUSON SERVICES N.V. May 15, 1962 [May 15, 1961], No. 18578/62. Heading B5A. A pellet forming machine consists of two annular plates 57 and 44 between which are a number of equally spaced bosses 61 with curved tips 71. Plates 63 are connected to the bosses 61 by pins 62 and are moved outwardly by pistons 66 reciprocating within cylinders 65 thus restricting spaces 70. A shaft 31, connected to supports 41, rotates and causes rollers 43 to move thus impinging the pellet-forming material against the curved surfaces 72 and into the restricted spaces 70 where the material is built up to form pellets.
