Abstract

759,558. Rack stands. DOEPKE MANUFACTURING CO., C. W. May 28, 1954 [March 1, 1954], No. 15824/54. Class 52(3). [Also in Group XVII] One or a series of dispensing hoppers is removably mounted in a rack by the engagement of pivots on the sides of the hopper with notches in the rack. The rack comprises a base 11 having notches 20 in which fit ends 14 of bail handles 21. Extensions 13 for further hoppers are mounted as desired on the base. Stirrups 63 may be pivotally mounted in the rack to engage depressions 62 in the base of the hoppers to partially support their weight. The hoppers may be of known form and designed for stacking one upon the other by means of the bails, but having in addition a lid 15 the ends of which clip over curled ends 59 on the body. A spout 12 is secured to the lid which has an opening 16 giving access to the spout. A number of racks may be secured side by side.
