A leg 6, or other part, to be fixed to a panel 1 has a shoulder 5 to fit into a slot 2 and an internal tenon 3 with lateral recesses 4 into which a pair of wedge blocks 7 are clamped by a bolt 8. A reinforcing pin 10 may be provided for the tenon end.
