754,662. Pick-mountings for mmeralmining machines. RAWLINS, G. C. May 12, 1955 [Feb. 16, 1954] No. 4451/54. Class 68(1) The profile 13, 14 of a sector-like member 11 rotatably mounted about a pin 1.2 in a pick box 10 is such that when the shank 21 of a pick 20 is inserted into the box 10 a complementarily profiled portion 22, 23 of the shank 21 engages the profile 13, 14 of the member 11 and thus causes it to rotate to interlock with the shank to secure the shank in the box. The member and shank are maintained in this position on the insertion of a pin 25. A stop 15 limits rotation of member 11 when the pick 20 is withdrawn from the box.
