754,566. Sectional boats. WHITTLE, O. L. May 3, 1955 [April 21, 1954], No. 11429/54. Class 113. In a portable sectional boat wherein the ends or bulkheads 17, 20 of abutting sections 11, 12 are blanked off, the bulkhead 20 of one section of each adjacent pair has a downwardly directed lip 21 which serves to receive and locate the upper edge 19 of the complementary bulkhead of the other section of the pair. The sections are secured together by bolts passing through holes 23 in the bulkheads, compressible washers being provided between the bulkheads to ensure watertightness. The dismantled sections may be nested one in the other.
