A container for an inflatable raft comprises a plurality of co-operating parts 1, 2, each having a projecting flange 6 and a resilient endless band 7 fitting over the flanges to retain said parts in assembly so that when the raft commences to inflate, thereby exerting pressure on the container, the endless band releases the parts to allow them to separate.
