753,672. Hinges. BAXTERS (BOLTS, SCREWS & RIVETS), Ltd. Nov. 4, 1954 [Jan. 21, 1954], No. 1790/54. Class 65 (2). [Also in Group XVII] A handle 1, Fig. 3, is hinged on a container 2, Fig. 6, by shouldered rivets 3 secured to the container such that the head 4 and a part 5 of each rivet 3 extends outwardly to permit keyhole shaped slots 9 in the ends of the handle 1 to be slipped over the rivets, there being means, such as.a tab 12, that can be disposed behind the peripheral portions of the rivet heads to prevent slidable disengagement of the rivets from the smaller portions 11 of the keyhole slots. Instead of the tab 12, a band or clip 14, Fig. 10, may be used. Specification 656,036, [Group XVII], is referred to.
