752,853. Indicating-apparatus. SHORT BROS. & HARLAND, Ltd. April 28, 1955 [June 9, 1954], No. 16943/54. Class 106 (4). Indicating-apparatus comprises a transparent cylindrical scale 10 having freedom of movement radially and/or axially with a strip 15 of translucent material mounted closely adjacent to and behind the scale and at least one electric lamp 17 fitted in a polished hole 16 in the strip 15. The scale 10 is made of glass with the internal surface 12 frosted and the external surface bearing opaque graduations. The strip 15 has two internally polished holes 16 for bulbs 17 and its rear surface 18 is silvered.
