A driver's control valve for fluid pressure braking apparatus of the kind adapted to effect both electric and pneumatic control by a single handle 20 comprises a number of poppet valves 13 controlled by a rotary face cam 3, the cam being mounted upon a spindle 1, coupled to the control handle 20, and arranged to operate the valves in accordance with the position of the handle 20, the axes of the spindle 1 and poppet valves being substantially parallel. The cam 3 applies pressure to the upper ends of the spindles 14 of the poppet valves by means of rollers 6 in support members 7 having hardened steel buttons 9. Specification 467,215 is referred to.
