Abstract
750,077. Photographic cameras. AGFA CAMERA-WERK, AKT.-GES. Sept. 27, 1954 [Oct. 5, 1953], No. 27868/54. Class 98 (1). In a roll film camera in which the film is advanced and the shutter set simultaneously, locking means, controlled by the film measuring means, are provided to lock both the latter and the film advancing means when one frame has been advanced, and the film-winding and shutter setting means are connected by an elastic member so that the shutter-setting means can be further operated after the film-wind has been locked. As shown, the single lever 14 winds the roller 3 of a roller blind shutter through gears 18, 23, 19, and is connected by a coiled spring 15 to the key 6 which engages the film spool. One end of the spring 15 is attached to the shaft 6 and the other to a drum 16 which is connected by a spindle 17 to the lever 14. The film is metered by a disc 7a, 7b on a shaft 7 carrying a gear 8 which is pressed by the film into engagement with gear 9 and turns, through gears 10, 11, the notched wheel 12. The latter turns once per frame length and is then locked by the lever 20 entering the notch 12a. At the same time, the other end of the lever 20 locks the notched wheel 13 on the key 6 and thus locks the film-winding means, but the lever 14 can still be operated to complete the shutter setting by virtue of the spring 15. The locking arm 20 may be released by a knob (not shown).
