749,206. Wire strainers. WOLSELEY ENGINEERING, Ltd., [formerly WOLSELEY SHEEP SHEARING MACHINE CO., Ltd.], and MACNAMARA, H. J. Dec. 3, 1954 [Sept. 15, 1953], No. 25419/53. Class 45. A combined reel and wire strainer comprises a reel 6 which is operated by a handle 10 and is journalled in side plates la interconnected by rods 2, 3, 4, 5, riveted thereto. The flanges 12 of the reel are provided with registering apertures 13 for the insertion of a locking-rod 14, 15, The rods 4, 5 are sheathed with rubber or thermo-plastic material 18 and have a bracket 19 secured thereto, see also Fig. 2 (not shown). The bracket is provided with a clamp 21 having an entry gap 22 or a hole for receiving the ground post 24. The handle is provided with a projection 11 for use as an abutment for a tommy bar.
